I know this song isn’t exactly new, but I love it and rarely hear it because I spend most of my time listening to the smooth sounds of the 70s. Do you love it too? How about the peculiar video? Enjoy!

I love this song by George Benson (major player). Totally takes me back to my childhood. Check out the awesome video complete with groovy roller skaters. No wonder I love it! Wish I was there.

Coolest Baby Pictures Ever!

Apparently, an artist mom from Helsinki created these awesome pictures while her little one slept.  There are even more than what is shown here.  Wish I had done this when my kiddos were small.  Too cool.  Thanks to my friend who sent them to me!

The Rockettes

If you’ve never seen the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, you should put it on your list of things to see.  Much more than just high kicks, this show has it all.  From huge bears in tutus and pointe shoes, pieces from the Nutcracker, 32 jazz dancing Santas, live singers, to the story of Christmas–oh, and did I mention those fabulous high kicking ladies?  This is one all-encompassing Christmas show and the dancing was great.  The precision was impressive but even more so were the amount of numbers these girls performed and the length of each dance.  Most of the routines were choreographed to music without words and were on average probably 8 minutes long (a lot to remember with very little musical cues).  As someone who has danced a bit in the past, I could really appreciate the dedication and discipline these girls displayed.  And, by the end of the performance I felt like I had my quota of holiday productions filled.  No need to see any other Christmas shows if you see this.  In fact, you could probably skip the Christmas Eve church service, if you wanted, as their story of Christmas was quite elaborate!  My seven-year old loved every minute and so did I.  Oh, and they even made it snow!  A magical show indeed.
